Since 1971, John Jacobs’ Golf Schools has taken a practical approach to golf instruction, enabling more than 15,000 players each year to become better golfers and their own best teachers. The John Jacobs' Golf Academy program is designed to offer you even more opportunities to improve your golf game. The John Jacobs' Golf Academy concept was developed with your ongoing golf instruction needs in mind. Each Academy program is taught by Jacobs'-certified PGA and LPGA staff ensuring the same premium level of instruction found at all John Jacobs' school sites. John Jacobs' Academies offer private, semi-private and small group instruction with customized scheduling to suit your needs. Instruction is available on a lesson-by-lesson basis or through a value-priced series plan.

Several John Jacobs' Academy locations offer half-day and full-day schools, 9-hole playing lessons and mini-schools, as well as video analysis. Each of these programs focus on specific areas of the golf game such as full swing, short game and trouble shots. The Jacobs' Academies offer an opportunity for you and your family to experience our proven, personalized instruction. Gold Canyon Golf Resort, Gold Canyon 
Carved out of the foothills of the scenic Superstition Mountains, the 36 holes of desert mountain golf at Gold Canyon offer two distinct playing options. Dinosaur Mountain, rated 4-1/2 stars by Golf Digest takes golfers into the high Sonoran Desert with dramatic tee-to-green elevation changes. Sidewinder, Gold Canyon's newest course, runs through the land's natural arroyos and dry creek beds, providing a pristine desert golf experience. Play them both!

SunRidge Canyon, Fountain Hills

Adding to the intrigue of SunRidge Canyon is the unique way the golf course has of inviting golfers in, then surrounding them with beauty and drama. This course, in the heart of the desert, features lush fairways hidden between steep canyon walls. Greens are defined by age-old stands of mesquite, ironwood and palo verde trees...and shaded arroyos team with wildlife. SunRidge Canyon was created by wind and water, rock and time, following Nature’s course – and the views are awe-inspiring.

With 36 holes of championship golf, Camelback Golf Club offers one of the finest golf experiences in the Southwest. Legend Trail Golf Club, Scottsdale
The exquisitely manicured course meanders through the Sonoran Desert landscape and features breathtaking, panoramic vistas, including some of the areas well-known landmarks such as Pinnacle Peak. A round at Legend Trail Golf Club will provide players of all skill levels with numerous diverse and unique shot-making situations. Legend Trail Golf Club provides a unique Arizona golf experience to each of our guests. With the "Long Trail" playing at a distance of 6,845 yards, you'll have to bring your "A" game to score well from these tees. At Legend Trail, we offer four sets of tees to accommodate a variety of skill levels..

The course features wide fairways, bent grass greens, small bunkering, and island tees. Each hole adheres to the natural lay of the land, winding through washes and ravines, and playing along stands of indigenous saguaro cacti and Palo Verde. Canoa Ranch Golf Club, Green Valley
Canoa Ranch Golf Club is a wonderful example of how the Southwestern desert can be transformed into a golfer’s paradise and yet coexists with the beauty of the surrounding native land. This 18-hole, par 70 was designed by Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley, two friends and seasoned professionals whose philosophy is to design a course that is demanding, but at the same time beautiful and enjoyable.
