Q. How do I book a vacation?
A. That’s easy… Scottsdale Golf & Lodging will help you choose a hotel to fit your needs and we will book all of your golf tee times for you in advance. Need a rental car? We can add that too with discounted rates from Alamo, Hertz, Enterprise, and National Car Rentals. Just give us a call or send us an email and we can get started planning the golf vacation of your dreams!

Q. What is the cost?
A. Cost varies depending on the package that you choose. Prices vary for golf depending on the time of year that you want to visit Arizona and the golf courses that you choose. Based on the package you choose you will receive a proposal that can be modified at any time to fit your needs. Or, visit our “Packages” section for some preformed package ideas.

Q. How do I pay for my golf vacation?
A. A deposit equal to one night's hotel accommodations is required in order to confirm your reservations. The balance is due to Scottsdale Golf & Lodging 30 days prior to arrival.

Payments can be made with all major credit cards (AMEX, MasterCard, Visa, Diners and Discover), or by check or money order. Checks and money orders should be mailed to Scottsdale Golf & Lodging c/o Arizona Trails Travel Service, P.O. Box 18998, Fountain Hills, AZ  85269-8998

Q. What if I have to cancel?
A. Unfortunately sometimes it is necessary to cancel a trip. Our cancellation policy is simple. You will receive a full refund, less a $25 service fee, if cancellations are made up to one week (7 days), prior to your scheduled arrival. Within 4 - 7 days of arrival 25% of the total cost, (minimum charge $25), is non-refundable. Within 72 hours of arrival the entire deposit is non-refundable. 

Travel insurance is available to protect your golf vacation from last minute unforeseeable circumstances. Ask our reservation agents for a quote on travel insurance. 

All cancellations need to be made directly with Scottsdale Golf & Lodging, not with the hotel or golf courses.

Q. I need to change our tee time, should I call the golf course directly?
A. No, call Scottsdale Golf & Lodging and we will make all of the necessary changes.

Q. Will I need a car to get around?
A. The valley is pretty vast so a rental car is recommended. Scottsdale Golf & Lodging has an agreement with Alamo, Hertz, Enterprise and National for discounted rates. If you are interested in this discount, please let our reservation agents know.

Q. My spouse doesn’t golf, what else is there to do in Arizona?
A. A lot! Choose from a variety of activities such as guided day tours, desert jeep tours, hot air balloon rides, guided hikes, shopping and much more.  Visit our “Activities / Attractions” section for ideas or ask reservation agents for suggestions.

Q. Is there a minimum or maximum number of rounds that I can play?
A. No, this is your trip. You can play 18-holes of golf or 36-holes of golf , every day or just one day. We will customize your trip to your wishes.

Q. Where are the hotels located?
A. Our hotels are centrally located to golf, attractions, and activities. Visit our “Map” page for exact locations.

Q. Where are the golf courses located?
A. There are too many to list so visit our “Map” page for exact locations. Also, directions to the golf courses you play, vouchers for golf, and hotel confirmation will all be mailed to you prior to arrival with adequate lead time.

Q. I am traveling with friends; can we each pay separately for our trip?
A. Sure, just have a credit card number and expiration date for each of the guests and we will be sure to charge each individual separately. Or, each guest can call reservations with their number; just make sure they have the date of travel available and the group leader's name.

Q. Do you handle airfare?
A. Yes. Our affiliate travel agent can assist you with airfares from any city.  Please ask at the time of reservation.  

Q. I have not been to Arizona before. Can you make some suggestions on golf?
A. Absolutely! That is our specialty. Let us know your budget, skill level of play and desired golf experience and we will go from there.
